A fleet of outlaw captains loosely collaborating under the auspices of Gjermund Hoff, whose experience and subsequent betrayal of the navy grants him an edge in keeping his colleagues out of harm's way.
The Slain Wolf insignia comes from Hoff's reputation as the "Hound of Vespasia" when he was fleet admiral. The knife is symbolic of his feelings of betrayal at being disbanded under the treaty of Sunsteda Bay. He won more battles than he lost, but victory somehow eluded him. His navy was put down, yet he is determined to die with his teeth on Sandringham's throat.
