Sir Armen of Armstrong was knighted on Day 1 of King's Week in 268 RP.
His vows are:
- Answer any challenge, but never escalate.
- Always maintain decorum. Rudeness is an admission of fear.
- Refrain from giving offense or insult, brook no insult from an equal or lessor.
- Respect the defeated, and accept their service if offered.
- Never run from an enemy, never spare a deserter.
- Make only equal trades, and accept no gifts but hospitality.
- Destroy nothing of beauty. Slay none that would live peacefully and lawfully.
Sir Armen has proved a diligent student of tactics. Like most in his family, he has aspirations of command, and a reliably incisive mind.
Compared to the other Armstrong heirs, Sir Armen easily grasped military strategy, but his skills as a general suffer from a want of leadership skills. It is hoped he will grow in this respect as an aide de camp to some general. He already has helped his father invest in some of House Astley's many enterprises.
Sir Armen's 6th vow was one he was ordered to take by his father. After making numerous seditious remarks at the table, his lord father feels he may have a basic lack of moral fiber. His abiding interests are viewed as both an asset to the family and a risk. His family begrudgingly accepted his 7th vow. They are proud to have a son take seven vows, but they know he chose this one as a mask for his pacifism.
He voraciously studies anything referring to the Caer Egalcio Ruins. He even acquired, with family funds, a history written during the Armorcian dynasty. He has a distant fantasy about reclaiming the ruins one day.

He is lately attended by Squire Lyonesse Clements. Like her father (the ranking lieutenant in the Royal Highlanders), she is an affable student of mineralogy.
