Although terribly out of fashion, this cuirass has existed for several generations. It has been kept in excellent condition, and bears the seals and accolades of many a battle, as well as an interesting rune inside the backplate. 

Absorbs the soul of the wearer upon death; contains many ancestors’ spirits, who can speak to you. They can’t take control of your body or do things, unless it involves other ghosts, but they contain a wealth of stories and information that might come in handy. 

Wot’s that, I say? Tighten my left rerebrace, you ridiculous nebbish! Hang the devil on, I ken this place! We hanged an evil witch just over that knoll in Frostreap 102. Let’s see if her shade is available for comment. She fancied me, you know?
