Rereading my great-grandfather's entries on the orcs of his day illustrates just how massive a culture shift has occurred in such a short time! A people who were once feared as raiders and savages have united to form a nation like no other. In their own way, orcs may just be the most welcoming people in Terrania. They live for sport, have a rich oral history, and love to dance and celebrate with reckless abandon. In this halfling's eyes, they are not so different from my own people.
