Caeden grew up in the town of Greenflower with his parents Jarl and Elia. Jarl was a textile merchant renown for his inventory of exotic fabrics, often sourced during his travels to Faelatha, and Elia helped him run the shop.
Caeden was bullied excessively as a child, and often tried to avoid the worst of it by not putting up a struggle.
One day, when Caeden was 13, a hedge knight named Sir Rommel came through Greeenflower and offered Caeden a position as his squire. He accepted without hesitation and thus began the training that would lead him to become the fighter that he is today, vowing to never be as defenseless as he was as a child again.
