Expedition 49a - Konrad's Account

Konrad to Rarder, whilst mountaineering and in spite of Rarder's requests to shut up:

"Elador the Magnificent, that's how they should call him!"

"Oh, if only you could have seen him call on the gods to summon you and Alf back to life!"

"And have you seen how many heretics had he hung?!"

"Oh, and by the way, that Baron of yours—there is something fishy about him. Elador said so himself!"

"Yeah, a cult or something. How come you haven't noticed it yourself?!"

"Rarder, are you a believer? Or–gasp! Are you a heretic! Are you working with the Baron?!"

A slap later finally made him quiet.

He did rub his little pebble though.
