After our petrified companions had recovered we began to delve onwards, first discovering a room with a strange clock like device and some markings indicating a code of sorts, after much mumbling we discovered the cipher and a door unlocked to reveal a dwarven tomb.
The corpse inside held a strange warhammer and our dwarves gazed upon it eagerly, but the tomb looked suspicious so an attempt to lasso it managed to dislodge it, this triggered some mecahnism, the door slammed in our face and a faint hissing of gas came from beyond.
Not willing to wait around, we carried onwards, discovering a succession of secret doors leading into the rear of another tomb but this time without an occupant, we opened the tomb door and were set upon by a gaggle of undead, clawing at our warriors.
Retreating into corridor, we presented a formidable defence, I called upon the might of the Lord of Chaos who banished two of the underworldly beasts, but our cursed dwarven warrior was badly injured by their fetid strikes.
Swapping places and weapons with our knight who maintained a defense, I called upon mighty Mar Nod to give succour to the dwarf so he could continue to stab away, whilst my retainer hurled a vial of holy water which burnt the foul creature, we chopped and slew.
Once again my benevolent benefactor of anarchy came to my assistance to blind one creature, whilst the dwarf plunged his spear into another, immediately a glow came over him and we all knew he was cured at last!
We quickly dispatched the remainder and retreated to the surface to hoard our treasures, making our way back to the castle for a much needed rest and recuperation, glad in the knowledge our cursed companions were no more under their wretched geas.
