Background: Balthusar is a former gladiator who's taken his winnings to become an important broker in the Warrens since the deposing of Kalak. While Balthusar was never one of the most renowned champions of the arena, he found a niche of being strong enough to stay alive and profitable while avoiding getting a target on his back. His small notoriety and winnings translated well to becoming a power broker in the Warrens, moving from freelancing muscle to running an entire operation.
