Part 2: The Escape to Formos

The crew hopped along the Perlemian trade route outward to the Tion cluster before, to shake off potential pursuit, their course turned southward toward the edge of Hutt Space. Their goal was the small planet of Formos - hoping to hide away there, out of sight and mind, until their heat died down and they could replace their stolen ship's registry.

There, by way of involving themselves in a conflict between a band of local thugs and a visiting rodian - Zukata Vyero - the group quickly found themselves embroiled in the matters of a local smuggling strongman. The aqualish smuggler lord, Bandin Dobah.

Picking their way through Dobah's rank and file, the crew recruited the services of an abducted astromech droid - hungry for revenge on his kidnappers, for the murder of his robot friend. The droid - R4-W9 - was equipped with navigational charts for faster routes through the asteroid belt surrounding the planet Kessel, with which the crew managed to chart out likely places where Dobah's hideout would be at.

With a daring leap right into the asteroid belt, the crew snuck their way into Bandin Dobah's lair. Unbeknownst to them, the rodian would-be bounty hunter Vreebo had already arrived at the scene and subsequently joined the smugglers for his own survival. The crew managed to persuade him not to cause trouble for them, as they proceeded to engage in a deadly firefight.

The fight ultimately resolved with the death of Dobah's crew, and the capture of Dobah himself. Not trusting the Empire command on Keesel, with the heat already on their back, the crew opted to take to skirt the northern edges of Hutt Space to visit the planet Sleheyron.

At Sleheyron, they dealt the bounty in to a hutt kingpin named Thakba the Hutt, who wanted to make an example of Dobah for trying to cut into his business. Thakba cast Dobah into his gladiator pit as a show of power, with part of the crew witness to the atrocities. At least the hutt was true to his word, and the bounty they had been promised.
