Skull Rock is a large rock formation in the shape of a human skull that domaines the relatively deep bay that forms where Skull River empties into the sea.

The bay is deep but warm with a fine sandy beach, and is a popular spot for swimming and fishing. It hosts several floating wooden piers primarily used by fishermen.
