Governor's Mansion

A relatively new and splendid building, the mansion (and it’s brother the Port Authority) were both built after the The Pirate Crusade 75 years ago, when Skull River Bay was conquered and partially burned by a vengeful fleet of warships from the The Inner Archipelago. The buildings were a gift and sign of support and legitimacy from the Inner Archipelago to the new Governor they installed to rule the town following the successful conclusion of the crusade.

While the current Governor, Governor Samuel Hops is generally considered to be a reasonable sort and not given to ethically extreme stances, the building still catches the occasional ire and humor of the seafaring community. It is a constant effort to clean the building of graffiti, despite the number of guards watching at any given time.
