Abbess Miranda

There is no one as loved in Skull River Bay as the Abbess. She and her sisters of St. Claire selflessly serve as healers and apothecaries to the town. Their Order demands they treat anyone in need, without question and without demanding a price. Many a pirate's life has been saved by the Sisters.

Regardless of never demanding payment, the wealthier pirate captains make sure that the Abbey has everything it could possibly need, as they have learned the wisdom of taking care of the physicians that might next take care of you.

She and her sisters also serve as a calming influence in the town, often being called in by Governor Samuel Hops as a less violent alternate to the town guard when drunken pirates get out of hand. No one in the entire criminal town would dare to raise a hand to the Sisters, and if they did, they would fund every hand raised against them.

The Abbess is good friends with Governor Samuel Hops.
