Nathaniel Skullspeaker is an infamous pirate captain, known as a great traveller and explorer in addition to his piratical exploits.
He and his Sloop, The Marabelle can be found anywhere in The Thousand Isles and beyond. Normally a curmudgeonly sort, Nate loves his grog and can usually be convinced to share a tale or two if someone else is buying the drink.
Little is known of his origin, though he clearly comes from First People stock, though also clearly by his dress and manner no longer keeps to the old ways.
Nate is called “Skullspeaker” for the large human skull he wears around his waste. He often has conversations with the skull (one sided ones at least to onlookers) and has various times claimed the skull is his father, mother, brother and previous captain.
