Lost Anchorage

Lost Anchorage (Formerly North Anchorage) was an important fleet base for the Annwyn Empire. Located near Cape Forlorn off the Opal Coast, the anchorage played an important role in suppressing piracy and ensuring the important trade routes for that mineral rich region.

Unlike most of the Annwyn naval anchorages, North Anchorage was not entirely evacuated by The Recall, a small garrison lingered until the area was devastated by a great earthquake and tsunami, which killed virtually the entire population.

The souls of those unfortunates were then trapped on the island for five hundred years until eventually released by the adventuring party known as the Lords of Doom.  You can read that story here.
