The Red Watch is a mercenary company that hails from Ende. They serve as the town watch for Puerto Lejos and are the majority of the land combat units in the region. Roughly one hundred strong, a good half of their numbers are absent from Puerto Lejos at any given time, serving as marines on House Vetrini ships travelling too and from Puerto Lejos.
The Watch is an elite unit that has existed for at least two hundred years, and has participated in many wars throughout it's career. They dress in traditionally Endish dress (kilts, backswords, targes, muskets and pikes) and often march and fight to the sound of the bagpipes.
They are primarily infantry, though they have a small troop of dragoons ad artillery attached as well.
They have been in the employee of House Vetrini since the The Pirate Crusade, where they played a crucial role in securing victory.
