Old Casimir the Great Chamber

Mine Feature

This wide spacious chamber is decorrelated with a bust of King Casimir the Great, an ancient king of legend.

Inner parts of the chamber were considered some of the most desirable in the mountain due to the fresh air that came from the Old Main Shaft and were used as barracks and apartments for high ranking mine employees.

Unknown has turned this room into his layer. Vast amounts of treasure, mostly mithril and silver are piled or spread across the wyrm’s bed.

The exit out of the room deeper into the mines is covered by a melted pile of solid silver. Vermithor liked silver over the exit and then used his fiery breath to melt it into a solid mass, to prevent any creatures from deeper in the mine interfering with his hoard. The mass of silver is roughly five feet by three feet and extremely heavy. It is also obviously out of place with regards to the rest of the hoard.

Description

This huge chamber is roughly the shape of an oval dome, hundreds of feet in diameter and at least forty feet tall. The chamber is overflowing with silver and mithril, coins, bars, raw ore cover the floor, huge stacks of silver bars and bursting sacks of coins are scattered around the walls. You have found the dragon's horde. A wide indentation in the center of the room was probably where the great beast slept.

Other then the massive amount of treasure there are only two other features of note. In the far side of the chamber a great stone statue rears, sitting on a throne that is half buried by piles of silver. Next to the statue, a large pile of silver bullion seems to be melted into the wall by some extreme heat.
