Aravel has been feuding with Raist and Cast over the proper way to categorize the library. Aravel is a firm believer in the Decimialization categorization system, while Raist and Cast believe in a different scheme, the Royal Archivist categorization. This has become a holy war. Only one system must rule them all.
Raist and Cast and have recategorized the eastern library, and would love to do the same to the Western one, but are afraid of Aravel and his living spell book companions. They have concocted a plan to try to descend into the stacks and try to tame some of the feral Living Spell Books that roam it's corridors. But they are aruging about the best way to proceed.
