This is the neighborhood where the farmlands to the south meet the city. It is where farmers bring their long horned cows, sheep and chicken to sell. Its home to vast animal markets, including the swamp market where all manner of exotic creatures and plants from the swamp can be purchased. Dampton is lampooned by the other neighborhoods for forever having the faint scent of dung in the air. The place also has its fair share of criminals out to take advantage of the naive country folk that visit to sell their wares. It’s a neighborhood packed with livestock and all the accompanying sounds and smells. It is known as district full of vets, slaughterhouses and animal traders.
