Nomando Cathedral

The largest Modella temple in the city and the seat of religious power. The High Priest of Nomando interprets the holy scriptures for all followers of Modella in Albasa City and the wider state. Founded seven hundred years ago by Charles Mencalum, the youngest son of a wealthy family from Maylin, this was never a monastic order from the beginning the High Priests of Nomando Cathedral lived lives out in the city and exerted influence in its affairs. As the fortunes of Albasa grew so did the fortunes of the Cathedral with the Civilized Families of the city all making enormous donations that allowed the temple to expand and grow on the outside and for its insides to become spectacles of wealth and power so dazzling that by the time Albasa became the capital of the Kalhom Empire believers from across the known world were making pilgrimages to come and worship at the temple.
