Gwann Fardarra, which roughly translates to divine dance or the dance divine or choreography of the gods, is the Elven word for their religion/pantheon.
Ancient elven races, such as found in Elleseand and elsewhere in the world, worship the following pantheon:
- Fanril - God of Light, the Sun, and Life.
- Andalis - Wife of Fanril. Goddess of Darkness, the Moon, Death, and the Afterlife.
- Zarra - Sister of Fanril. Goddess of Knowledge (and its subdomains; Medicine, Secrets, Law) and Justice (Retribution, Law, Truth)
- Hanel - Brother of Andalis. God of Destiny, Trickery, and Chance.
Fanril and Andalis are said to be locked in an eternal dance across eternity, with Fanril gifting life to Andalis, and Andalis taking it for her own.
Zarra seeks to give knowledge and empowerment to her brother's creation, yet Hanel will always try to trick and deceive, and most importantly, give free will to life.
