Yanzu's Explanation

Having introduced himself as a key member of The Old Raven Shield, he inducted Nova Amaril, Silaqui and later Maloc into The Raven Shield.

Fulfilling his original promise to Alfredus Sinask and his fallen compatriots of the old Raven Shield, Yanzu lifted the curse on Elenora Sinask and subsequently disappeared in order to shoulder the burden of the curse of Xal'Ratar himself.
