Whilst visiting the city of Heastead, the party is approached by Adaran, an elegant High Elf.
He has a proposition for the party:
Salutations! You seem like travelers, like myself! I believe I find myself in need of... help. Could I trouble you for a moment? I promise you will be compensated.
Following Adaran, he leads the party to a quiet inner courtyard.
Thank you for your time. I represent Lady Mirithil, who collects rare artifacts. She recently caught wind of a most exceptional relic - the Nightthorn, a magical Elven sword, that is said to be able to light up even the most evil and foul darkness.
According to our sources, the blade has been... procured... by a Dwarf by the name of Duri Ukal, who lives here in this city. We wish to purchase this blade from him, but have been rebuked - he seems unwilling to trade with or even be associated with Elves.
Our request is the following: approach mister Ukal, and offer him a down payment of 20 gold, which we will provide for you. Convince him that there will be another 330 gold for him once he meets the buyers.
I would advise not to disclose the identity of us as the buyers, so see to it that you convince him otherwise.
We will set up outside of town, at Old Oak Hill. Try to meet us there as soon as possible.
