Spires of Creation

Spires of Creation are elemental hierarchies arranged by the sentience and intelligence of an Azerai and by their expanded domain. As an Azerai gains Renown and intelligence, their domain expands to reach out more and more. 

Monumentals

SummaryAt the top are the Monumentals. These are the absolute embodiment of the base forces of nature. When the hour has passed, these Monumentals lived in the elemental planes supporting it with their very being - but a juvenile war long ago saw the use of an item so inherently destabilizing that it drew the Monumentals mad. So to save the material and the different pillars of reality from collapsing, the Monumentals were put to sleep. Sealed away as such to continue supporting both the material AND the elemental planes but until their sanities could be regained, it is up to the princes to maintain balance. 

Kings & Queens

SummaryLabeled as such by the rudimentary civilizations of the material, there are two beings per elemental plane that govern the elemental forces. Not necessarily joined in matrimony or even working together, there are 2 beings that hold the titles of Kings and/or Queens. Their roles in the hierarchy are to maintain the balance between the material and the other elemental planes, either by working together or by constraining each other.

Elemental Princes & Princesses

SummaryElementals of this rank are usually the Djinn and other such high-ranking elementals that many material planars attribute to be the "Wish-Granting" kind of beings for their power CAN be ALMOST as deserving as the tales told of them.. The elemental princes are the highest ranking elementals allowed to cross between planar divides, usually for political gambits or if situations become as dire. The princes may arrive in a few ways on the material, usually incognito - they usually only make appearances if summoned or if balance has been thrown enough out of sort that immediate intervention NEEDS to be taken.

SummaryThese elementals are vast in number and are divided into 2 sects. The Origins, the ones born & raised in their given elemental planes. Or the Orphaned, elementals born of the material plane. These elementals are not strong enough to cross divides themselves, but being creative and young they have interesting attributes and abilities to evolve past their former selves. These elementals are able to draw, not just from the raw elemental energies but also the psionic energy of the planes. Drawing from the psionic energies allows them to mutate into interesting spiritual forms that can take on various wide attributes. They still retain core elemental abilities such as air being able to go invisible or walk through objects.

Elemental Fledgling

SummaryThese ones are more primal elementals, usually taking the shape of just one element and whilst capable of speaking their native primordial language, don't usually tend to speak with non-elementals. These usually have much baser instincts or drives, usually single-minded pursuit to one direction such as Earth wanting to tunnel or Fire wanting to burn.
