The Sex Revolution

It all started in Hamir Portam with an envoy of Tritons who sought to try making a diplomatic venture in Hamir Portam. Finding the sterility of the iron & brasswork alongside the sterility of the people became an issue as Tritons are not reknown for wearing much. In the sea unless there is armor, there is little need for much else especially with their thicker skin quite literally. This sparked the Pyrite Patrol to take action against moral descent. As it started some persecution, the Jorien Church would come to diplomatic aid, but the Pyrite Patrol pushed back heavily to try keeping the sterling silver morality of the city, for this was a place of science & learning - not sensuality an distractions. This political upset was flipped against them as a syndicate of the Jorien Church suddenly appeared - the Aurum Sutrums that, with social political and MONETARY backing from an unknown patron, built up a political challenge to the Pyrite Patrol. Much of these protests escalated from just the courtroom to now open protests in the streets with one side dawning silvered robes & garbs while the other... very little. There's been back-and-forth an even public recruitment to join a side on matters of sensuality. Even now there are weekly public protests where both sides hinder the other so far in non-violent ways. As the winter set in, the Pyrite Patrol assumes that with the natural decrease in temperature that they would take the lead in protests... UNTIL the Aurum Sutrums came out with new quality-of-life inventions like warming bracers and skin-tight clothing that still produce the same spirit of the protest while protecting the person. Now in every battlefield of a woman's day from parlors to beauty salons to the open streets to fashion, these two forces have been going at it to decisively determine the public morale of Hamir Portam. But who knows where the deciding factor will be?
