Location: The Underdark
Party rests outside of Gracklstugh, taking time to process all of their trauma
Dibrael prays to the goddess Aerdrie Faenya (who Zaz follows), making his paladin oath to her
- Dibrael receives a vision of the goddess, who accepts him as her follower
- the goddess sends a message to him and Zaz, saying that she watches over them
Skjorn and Jorlan discuss the harshness of the Underdark and growing old both here and on the Surface
Zaz gives Derendil the crown he bought for him, which brings the prince to tears
- Zaz notices Derendil and Ront seem to have made up; apparently they worked together to get everyone out of the inn on fire
Mylz sets up a tent so that she can privately grieve the loss of Buppido and her disguise
- Topsy and Turvy ask how she's doing; though they're curious about her new appearance, they don't recognize her as a Surface hero
- Mylz tells them why she hid her aasimar status, stating that she wanted a break from always being a hero
Jimjar invites everyone to have tea
- he seems strangely unaffected by the day's events, but he claims this is just how he copes
- Zaz and Ront come over, followed by Dibrael, Skjorn, and Jorlan
- Derendil, Eldeth, Spiderbait, and Yuk Yuk join after a bit
Topsy and Turvy ask Mylz to join the tea party after passing out dinner to everyone
- Mylz has them fetch Zaz first, who helps her put on a new disguise for her own comfort
- Zaz asks Mylz why she wanted to be killed back in the tunnels
- Mylz compares it to Zaz's windstorm and not wanting to be a danger to others
- Zaz silently wonders if she intends to collect the bounty on him, because he hadn't told her about the windstorm yet
- Mylz and Zaz join the tea party
Skjorn gifts Derendil a gun and the latter says he'll learn to use it so he can be more useful in fights
- Derendil wonders if Sarith would be willing to train with him, since he's proficient in crossbows, and those are similar right?
Skjorn asks Mylz why she hides who she is; if he was famous, he would love the attention
- Mylz explains that while she loves helping people, she's never been allowed to have a break or retire due to others' expectations
- Eldeth recognizes Mylz as the hero who saved her when she was a little girl and gets a little starstruck
- Mylz doesn't remember Eldeth, but the two of them joke about Eldeth getting kidnapped more than once and they end on a good note
