We have received word from Salt Barrel.
Since we freed them from enslavement, the village has recovered and is now requesting our aid for a different purpose.
Salt Barrel is the only settlement we know of in the desert so far, but they assure us that there are others. Or at least there used to be. All of their trade is conducted with roving caravans, cities in their own right, but the denizens of Salt Barrel believe that should not be the case any longer. They're looking to expand.
Word is, that the most recent caravan came across ruins of village that seemed to be inhabited by dune raiders. If they could be convinced to leave this village, it would make a perfect place for the expanding population of Salt Barrel to settle.
These raiders are people, we think. So they might be able to be reasoned with. This is a good opportunity to gain some foothold in these new lands. Whether you want to use brain or brawn in this instance, is up to you. As long as we can secure this settlement in good condition.
We were not told exactly where this settlement was, so a good navigator might be needed. And this might be a longer quest, so pack a lunch. You might find yourself staying over night.
