Nilraun was a Zhentarim human wizard allied with Jarl Storvald during the War of the Ordning.
He was obsessed with finding the Ring of Winter. After being captured in Port Llast, he offered an alliance with the Frost Giant Jarl. Secretly, he plotted to betray Storvald after finding the artifact, not realizing the jarl attempted to betray him as well. Using his magic, he identified a blood relative of Artus Cimber, the last known owner of the Ring, living in Bryn Shandar.
He was incinerated by Levina's lightning breath.
