Tharizdun

Tharizdun is an ancient god known of by only the most knowledgeable of sages and scholars.  Legends say he has been imprisoned somewhere beyond reach by the combined might of the gods in the early days of the cosmos.  His crime was attempting to destroy all of reality for some unknown purpose.

Even as he slumbers within his eternal prison, his dreams have the power to influence and manipulate events within the world. However, his existence is not widely known, and he is worshipped by only scattered cults of demented followers. He is worshipped in some areas as the Elder Elemental Eye.

Tharizun's domains include Darkness, Cold, Entropy, Madness, and Illusion.

Tenets of the Faith:

• Channel power to the Chained God, so he can break his chains.
• Retrieve lost relics and shrines to the Chained God.
• Pursue the obliteration of the world, in anticipation of Tharizdun’s return.
