Hierarchy of the Celestial Angels of Imperial Temple

Angeloi:  The most common angelic servant, and one of the names used to refer to the host as a whole.  Commonly viewed as either male/female/indeterminate, they have a humanoid upper torso, arms and a head, and usually feathered wings.  They wear robes and armor, have featureless faces, and their lower half is composed of wispy ghostly emanations of power, or sometimes normal legs.  They are messengers, scouts, and troops.

Lillendi: Lillendi have the arms, head, and torso of a beautiful humanoid, but have feathers in place of hair and wings. From the waist down their body is that of a serpent. The feathers and scales are all brightly colored and patterned. They are known to wear jewelry or armor but rarely clothing.  Lillendi love art and music and also value unspoiled wilderness. They are normally peaceful, but the ill treatment of artwork or artist, or the destruction of wilderness, angers them.  Lillendi also appreciate sages and learning.

Angel of (Dominion):  Angeloi that embody a specific trait or philosophy become known by trait, i.e. Angel of Justice, Valor, Protection, Retrieval, etc.  They normally resemble the standard angeloi, but are usually more powerful when focused on their reason for existence, their purpose.
