In Shelzar, every desire can be fulfilled for those able to afford the price. Said to be half as old as Alfaysia itself, Shelzar has survived conquest, catastrophe, and chaos to emerge as the coast's capital of decadence and sin.

Venture to the the most decadent city of Alyndrica, learn its secrets and partake of its pleasures, but never let your guard down, for death comes as quickly as delight in Shelzar's smoke filled chambers and shadowed alleys, and the hand that delivers a soft caress one moment can hold a poisoned dagger the next.  Desire and danger are one in the City of Sins.

Shelzar's origin is unknown, it is most likely the most ancient continuously inhabited city known in Alyndrica.  It's architecture is a subtle and mainly elegant mix of styles seen in both Sunaria and ruins in and around both the Savahge and Storm coasts.

Legends claim that the city may have been founded as the capital of a kingdom of fire/elemental sorcerers, who not only manipulated the elements, but also the powers of the djinn.
