This forest is one of the last forest homelands maintained by the elves. Sylvan creatures still roam freely, and the area is said to be haunted by the spirits of the angry elvish dead. Remnants of the two Man/Elf wars can still be discovered throughout the forest. Ruins of unknown origin have also been found in different areas of the forest. The elves of Thiondar patrol the northern and eastern edges of the forest, and at the southern edge, an Alfar trading village and port has been established.
