Description:

Glimmershaven is a large, walled, trading town located on the Elankula River. Situated beneath the twin falls, it is a critical trading port for cargo heading to the coast. Among the cargo seen drifting downstream on rafts and barges are dwarven ore barrels, textiles from the Elvish enclave, and Ironwood trunks from north of the Bonifatius mining hold. The town is surrounded by sprawling farmlands. Inside the wall, the area between the north and south gates is dominated by a large stone windmill that lies dormant, its insides converted into the local watchhouse.

On the far bank west of the town stands the imposing Glimmerspeak. The mountain played a crucial role in the survival of the early settlers, providing a safe location to retreat from floodwaters when the original four falls overflowed. The path that the settlers took up the mountain is long and winding. Known as “the Ascencion”, it is a popular trip for travellers and pilgrim to the area. The stone at the top of the mountain resembles a dense pyrite, saturated with shining gold specks. 

Upon close examination the glittering stone was determined to have unique properties that temporarily disable Delrusian abilities.
