The Steel Hall was the name given to the main dwarfhold that spanned coast to coast under Falanar's southern mountain range. While "The Steel Hall" was the name given to the main hold itself, the smaller more numerous dwarfholds that held other clans, industrial areas, and everything in between was commonly referred to as "The Steel Halls", which baffled ancient scholars for many a year. The Steel Hall itself is rumoured to be an absolutely massive hold with ceilings up to 400 feet in the air and comprised almost entirely of metal. Ironically, rumours depict The Steel Hall as mainly being adamantine with white-stained floors, but other sources say that the name was given correctly and denotes a massive steel-constructed hall. No proper answer has ever been proven, though neither is more likely than the other given the governing Clan Nornvar Clan's famous reputation with the black metal adamantine.
Little is known of the interior of the dwarfhold, the last opening of the gates was speculated to be in the late 38th century when the divided clans left the hold forever to forge their own homes. All entrances to the Steel Halls was sealed off centuries ago, and little effort has been made to uncover them save for a few adventurous scholars.
