Baron Taylor of Blackburn retains his seat on the Blackburn Council

Lord Thomas "Tom" Taylor, of the Blackburn Council of Lancashire faces and wins his 1976 election to retain his seat on the Blackburn Council, thanks to secret backing by Edward Straker the 1st, employed at S.H.A.D.O.. Lord Taylor was known at the time for pushing for better immigration laws, to help immigrants with job placement. This would form the framework later for the same rules of exotic/alien job placement and immigration used by X-Com .

Lord Taylor would celebrate this win, with his wife and daughter, Amelia Taylor (born in 1957), who would follow along with his work. Lord Taylor would later pass away in 2016.

Tom Taylor would lose bid to retain his seat on the Blackburn Council. While he would later go onto other government positions, he did not meet, marry and have a daughter in 1978 as he did in the Earth-971 version.

He would later pass away in 2016.
