Fel’ling
The Fel’ling is a new subspecies of the Fel’jin. Unlike the Fel’jin and Fel’zint the Fel’ling aren’t born but are created. A Science-focused Zintraedi tribe decided to stop hunting Fel’jin as it costs too many resources, instead, they experiment on their remaining Fel’zint, and any Fel’jin they find and extract their DNA in order to infuse it with different species.
So far these Zintraedi have discovered that Earthlings have the highest success rate and thus they began kidnapping humans in order to turn them into Fel’jin. However, because these aren’t natural Fel’jin they are a weaker variant and during the transformations, a wide variety of complications can arise.
The Fel’lings can give birth to up to 4 children, they are more docile than humans but less docile than Fel’jin. They require rigorous training in order to be proper slaves. Even after this training the chance that a Fel’ling rejects its training is very much a real possibility, they require upkeep in order to keep their human sides repressed.
Fel’ling always has feline ears, a tail, and feline eyes. The list of complications that can arise during and after the transformation is almost endless, with only a perfect success rate of about 30% most Fel’ling die during the transformation or have to be terminated because of a failed transformation or damage to the mind.
