Leadership Team

Administrative Team

The director owns Aeternia, oversees the logistical operation of the LARP (e.g., site rental, gear, etc.), and has the final call on all LARP-related decisions. Fae also assists with conflict resolution not handled by the Player Reps.

Story Team

The story team writes setting information about the world, writes the plot for each cycle, creates NPCs, and helps players create PCs with backstories that tie into the setting.

Story Lead - Autumn

The Story Lead leads the story team and has the final say on all setting and plot-related decisions. 

Story Writers -

Story writers create plot, NPCs, etc., under the direction of the Story Lead. This responsibility is expected to take a few hours each month and take place primarily in between sessions. 

Rules Team

The rules team creates and documents the rules system for Aeternia. 

Rules Lead -

The Rules Lead writes and updates the rules system and makes rules calls in case of confusion. 

Safety Team

The safety team sets the safety standards for gear and behavior at Aeternia and enforces safety policy. 

Safety Lead -

The Safety Lead leads the safety team, trains safety marshals, performs fighter authorizations, and has the final say on all safety enforcement decisions. They also fulfill all the same duties as a safety marshal.

Safety Marshals -

Safety marshals conduct fighter authorizations and make in-the-moment calls on safety rules in the field. This responsibility is expected to take less than an hour of performing authorizations at each event as well as being on-call to handle safety issues as they arise during events and occasionally filling out brief forms after an event to document safety incidents adjudicated or weapon authorizations performed during an event. 

Safety marshals have a key role in the grievance procedure for combat-related grievances. Safety marshals can be identified by a yellow and black scarf tied around the upper arm or draped over the belt. 

Technology Team

The technology team is responsible for creating and maintaining event sign-up forms, character databases, and other relevant technology. 

Tech Lead -

The Tech Lead leads the tech team and defines the parameters for tech projects. 

Player Reps

Player reps adjudicate disputes between players and anonymously bring player complaints to staff if necessary.

Player Reps - Skinner

This role is not expected to require any specific time commitment on a regular basis but may occasionally require a large, emotionally intense time commitment when resolving disputes. Player reps have a key role in the grievance procedure for non-combat-related grievances.
