History and Goals
The Eye Sees consists of strong, devout followers of the deity Meta-Thanaton. Shrouded in twisted words and secrecy, nobody outside of those inducted seem to know what their goals are or even those within that hold any authority. What is known is that The Eye Sees is one of the strongest organized forces of chaos on Aeternia. This seeming contradiction has allowed for them to create a foothold on almost every island in Aeternia.
The Eye Sees was founded shortly after the appearance of Meta-Thanaton. Their rituals and customs are a tightly guarded secret from outsiders. They profess to only bring the freedom that comes with following chaos. He Who Watches desires all to be free, to allow themselves to fully explore who they wish to become, and to shrug off the weight that is the expectations and concerns of the mortal world and its shackles of law. The Eye Sees brings this message to the world, enforcing the choice to follow your heart.
The Eye Sees has had quite the conflicted history in the relatively short time of its existence. Several murders and acts of terrorism have been blamed on them, but they deny any responsibility, claiming to target only followers of Chroniki, the sworn enemy of their deity. Oddly enough, they also have what appears to be a very public altruistic endeavor. Despite their antagonistic relationship, "In His Gaze" is their answer to the work that One Blood engages in. The stated goals of the "In His Gaze" project are "To bring in those without anywhere to go and allow them to find true peace and purpose under the watchful eye of Meta-Thanaton."
