Deities are beings of supreme power in Aeternia. They are not playable as PCs, but may show up as NPCs on occasion.
There are several known (and possibly unknown) deities. They share certain traits such as: powerful magic within their particular domains, immortality, and the ability to move within the leylines of the world freely. Almost no deities are omniscient, but may have massive networks of magic or followers who will report the activities of the world to them. The origin of many deities is shrouded in mystery, but some say that ordinary mortals can ascend if there is as absence of balance in the celestial powers. Leyline guardians work with the deities and mortals in service of their leylines.
Known Deities
The Blood Mother - Creator of all animal life on Aeternia, humanoid and creature. Her primary color is red. She is generally well loved and respected. Devout priest and paladins of The Blood Mother tend to smear the life giving substance she is named for on their skin and clothing. Celestus of the Blood Mother manifest Life Ley Energy.
Chroniki - Formerly the protector of time and entropy, Chroniki has been missing since the cycles started. It is presumed he is dead and many of his followers have begun exhibiting dangerous behaivors. There are no known living Celestus of Chroniki.
Meta-Thanaton - Meta-Thanaton is a new deity to show themselves recently. Timeskippers have no records of them before The Sundering and it is presumed the fracturing of the world gave birth to this new creature. Generally cryptic, they have been known to appear to some as floating eyeball, wrapped in a purple cloud. Celestus of Meta-Thanaton manifest Chaos Ley Energy.

Known Guardians
Praktri - Guardian of the leyline of Nature, the strongest of the Leyline Guardians, Praktri is the creator of all plant life on Aeternia. They generally take the form of a Green Dragon and can often be found near the leyline they guard on Wolfsbane.
