A deep midnight-blue cloak of elegant cut, threaded with silvery star-maps and lined with silk the color of stormlight. The inner collar bears a faded sigil of the Veilwatch Concord — stitched in mirror-thread that subtly reflects movement. There’s a tear along one shoulder, expertly repaired but unmistakable. A name — "Auren Val" — is faintly embroidered along the hem.

Memory Echo - Item Feature
Once per Long Rest, when you touch an object, surface, or place tied to a strong memory — yours or another’s — you may choose to feel a brief echo: a sound, a scent, a sudden emotion.
This feature is narrative in nature, but the GM may allow an Insight check to interpret the feeling, or may offer additional information in especially charged locations.

Planar Ward - Item Feature
Once per Long Rest, when you fail a saving throw against a spell or magical effect from an aberration, fiend, celestial, or fey, you may reroll the saving throw. You must take the new result.
Veilwatch cloaks are sometimes woven to shield field agents from the unpredictable magic of veil-thin zones and planar predators.
