Loose Threads: How the morlock king can seemingly control the giagantic slime; there are other shiny things within the slime - too dark/ not enough time to investigate at the time; the now-consumed hive of literal firefly Pixies; slime is a considerable danger to the adjacent farmlands, and needs to be dealt with.

Short summary:
The party goes down the Burrows in search of a missing kid. A colossal ooze has been spotted, worshipped by a clan of Morlocks. Slime shenanigans ensued.

The party consisting of Bhitzaoji Ocitra, Ashkel, Hazy Hollyheart, Leora, and Beck left First Landing after finding a note stating a dog had gone missing, and there would be gold payment for its return.
After coming up to the farmhouse of the family whose son had posted the note in town the previous day, the party was informed that the son had ran off in search of the dog himself. The party searched the property and discovered a wooden sword that belonged to the child. The party followed some tracks from where the sword was found, and noticed a giant sinkhole. When they were going to tie a rope to rappel down the sinkhole, they noticed another rope had already been tied off there, having likely been left by the kid on his way down.
After descending into the tunnel, the party found tracks leading to the northeast, and followed them. After a while of following the tunnel, small blobs of slime were found. After a javelin and a blow gun dart was thrown at the tiny blobs a giant mass of ooze burst from the tunnel wall behind the party.
Having fought back the ooze, the party continued on down the corridor and came into a room with more exits. There was a glowing hive of fireflies, and three Morlocks came into the room. Any future adventures that come here should be advised that the floor in this room isn't stable, as Beck fell into a hole in a pile of treasure in the room to their death. They should also be able to see without light, or have ways of dealing with swarms of bugs.
The party dispatched of the Morlock and continued farther down, crossing a small chasm, having Hazy Hollyheart follow the ghost of the dog. They eventually come across the throne/main gathering room of the Morlocks, which had been set up on the corpse of the giant mole that was previously dispatched in this area. The ooze is bigger then anything else previously seen, and in this room took up a space of at least 75x80 feet. It is in some kind of understanding with the Morlocks, as it actually protected the Morlock King, and avoided swallowing him whole. There is some kind of murky black ink in the shape of a Unknown in the ooze that needs to be investigated. The party found the missing kid in a cage near the throne, and grabbed the entire cage in an attempt to escape with him and away from the giant ooze.
It was a hard fought escape. Bhitzaoji went down at the start of the fight, but was saved by the hard work of Leora. The others, Hazy and Ashkel, managed to save this unfortunate turn of events by getting little Timothee away from the approaching slime.
