Full report: Uzuto

Sukemoru Uzuto here. This is my report on our expedition to the Continent, as well as our dealings with the Horde. After agreeing with Gharok that it would be best for us to acquire supplies for the Refugees on the Continent, we gathered up who we could for the task in the Blinking Pug, these being Killian of No House, Konag, and Tozket. A man named Krach was unable to join us due to his ship being in disrepair. After we gathered, we made our way to the Guild hall to search for someone who could give us supplies. Luckily, a hard-working woman named Alissa was able to point us in the right direction, and even set up an appointment for us to meet with the Guildmaster! I was also able to haggle with an elderly man for 100gp and used that to purchase supplies

After buying a cart and renting a donkey, we were able to make our way to the Elemental Portal Shrine. The door to the Shrine Pool was stuck, but luckily I was able to fix it after a few minutes. Activating the portal and moving through, we were able to meet with one of the leaders of the camp, Ajan. After delivering the supplies and questioning the locals on the Horde, we spent the night at the camp. During our time there, I met a young boy who did not appear to have any friends. Because of that, I decided to teach him the basics of Draconic so that we could be friends! Also, a woman called me handsome! Me! I still think about it even after all this time.

Using a map given to us by Ajan, we made our way North to the Northern Invasion. As we set in for the night during the abominable cold, we saw a person with an exceptionally large hat and backpack making their way across the hills. Curious as to their nature, I approached them and upon discovering they were a Unknown, invited them to our camp. Their name was Zoro and they were able to sell us a detailed map of the continent, as well as troop formations of a fortnight ago, around 3 weeks by this point. After this, they took their leave and we returned to our rest.

Upon waking, we continued to set off to a town called Gildenwind, stopping by a nearby lake and a town called Dryhaven on the way. Dryhaven is a small town populated by Gnolls and Unknown. There appear to be tensions between the two ancestries, but for the most part they are peaceful. We had dinner with them and were able to question them as to the nature of the land. The largest city on the map, Thunderveil, is referred to as the Stolen City after being taken by the Orcs. There are ruins that are quite old, and seem to be unexplored by the locals of Dryhaven. There are groups of monsters of varying size that roam the land, but city walls are enough to keep them out. Legends say that the mountain will one day judge the people of the Continent. We also learned of Lightbringer Eudosius, the anointed leader of the army that stands against the Horde and the Republic

After taking the time to rest in town, we continued traveling to Gildenwind (Goldenbreath?), crossing a bridge guarded by lazy and inattentive soldiers. After arriving at Gildenwind, we were allowed entrance by the guard and told that if we wanted to meet Eudosius, we had to join the army. Instead of doing that, we asked people around town for the location, though no one was willing to tell us. That being said, we were able to divine the existence of an ascendant forever-king who will one day return to defeat the Horde, as well as a bookstore and manor where books can be found.

After spending the night in a tavern and planning our next move, we visited a local bookstore run by a man named Neezer and purchased a dictionary on Cōmmon [Editor’s note: Not actually named Cōmmon], the Common of the New World. Once we completed this task, we set out to find a group of Orc scouts. Hours after we began tracking them, we found them by the nearby river, and attacked them, achieving a close victory. We decided to go our separate ways, with Gharok and Konag taking tokens of the scouts back to Gildenwind, while Tozket and I delivered the living scouts back to First Landing. I was able to tell the skald stories about Orcs from Jianghu, which she seemed very enraptured with.

The day before we arrived at the camp, a rude horse started eating the corpse of the wolf that we took with us, so Tozket and I dispatched it with the help of one of the scouts. The skald had used the opportunity to escape so it is possible that she might cause trouble again. The man took the time to perform a ritual and bury the bodies of the scout and wolf who were eaten by the horse. He wanted me to kill him but instead I knocked him out and continued taking him to First Landing. While at the Roanokae Camp, I met up with Rip again, who had been practicing his Draconic. I was going to take him back with me to town to learn more, but he needed his mother’s permission, so I endeavored to retrieve it. That is how the quest ended.

Full report: Gharok

Gharok here, had to get it away from Uzuto. Basically all said is correct, a little more detail on me and Konag leaving while he took the corpses and prisoners back home. We went back to Gildenwind we met with one of the camps in charge Lieutenants named Irma.

Don’t remember a whole lot of the night to be honest besides drinkin, she talked about an orc named Skullcrusher who keeps orcs in line so they don't desert.

The Horde had some goal to do with using magic on the tree inside the territory of the Gnolls and Catfolk, and are well-versed in magic and general tactics as well, they prove to be more than just a tide of destruction, a well organized one which is far more problematic.

The map I managed to get will be pinned up by the Guild with copies to be made in the future, also the light seems to be a strong religious thing there, try not to push your own religion if you want to stay in good graces.

Last I remember, Skullcrusher is the name of the fiance of Aseron, Svetlana Skullcrusher. There is a very likely connection between the two that should be followed up on.

Full report: Konag

Drinking, hah. Suppose that's what we did then while Uzuto was throwing together his hair brained scheme. From the Konag perspective, what Gharok said does check out. I’ll note that the horde employs Songstresses and Shamans, the latter supposedly being more dangerous than the former. Many in the Coalition don’t seem very skilled in fighting, judging by Irma’s unearned confidence. Eudosias holds himself like a saint or god emperor for his troops, but its not known if his gravitas is well deserved.

I should note that my hair does not extend into my brain. Master checked.
