Raziel Vernadi was a good Bounty Hunter. Working mostly alone, he was diligent, patient, and through persistence, would find the criminals he needed to track and would bring them alive, if a little bruised.
Unfortunately, he's always had a bit of a rebellious streak. Justice and Law are two separate and distinct things. Multiple times, Raziel had been given debt criminals to find and yet, he came back with proof of corruption and crimes from the creditor instead, leading to their arrest and the subsequent freedom of the debtors.
With every unorthodox success, the number of people who sees him as a threat became bigger and he was sent on a trapped mission. He was caught but managed to escape the grasp of the bandits who were paid to kidnap and kill him, and burned down their hideout along the way.
Figuring that he's made a few too many enemies around Taldor in high and low places, Raziel looked for a new place where his skills might be appreciated and figured that moving beyond the portal was as good as a move as any.
However, old grudges hold fast and revenge is best served cold. There are still folks in Golarion who'd like to make sure that Raz finds his end soon, and maybe some are foolish or spiteful enough to follow him to the ends of the world itself.
