Loose threads: food supply for the original inhabitants of Final Landing running low; the occupation of Final Landing by the Shalak'ui; ne escaped Aghash (possible name Ghasemzade); one very angry remaining Valstrac with a missing arm.

Short summary:
Concerned with the well being of the Watchers' Tribe, the party sets out to see how they may be able to assisst. They are joined by the Unknown Druid Karok, exile of the Watchers' Tribe, they eventually leave First Landing and within a day of being at the Watchers' Tribe Village, Jean figures out the source of the affliction besieging the poor Kobold tribe. A type of magical radiation sickness from the Plane of Shadow leaking though the portal at First Landing! The party obtains an old ritual to purify the Portalas well as the means to go to the Plane of Shadow to try to purify the possibly linked portal there.

The party quickly resupplies and heads off to the Plane of Shadow to do what needs to be done there. After a few run-ins with those occupying Final Landing, the party reaches the Portal and disposes of those that would try to stop them. As Jean, Karok and Kayzen conduct the ritual, Bhitzoaji, Tinkado, and Dretal defend them against another wave of enemies.

Just as the ritual is comming to a close, they are attacked once again by another Velstrac. The party manages to occupy the creature long enough for the ritual to finish and for everyone to escape safely. Once back in First Landing, they purify the portal there and hopefully that should take care of the illness plaguing the Watcher tribe.

Full report: Bhitzaoji

This is a detailed recounting of events from Bhitzaoji Ocitra's perspective.

After receiving quest from the lovely Elvira, I turned to see two of my companions, Tinkado Mushameri and Karok, deep in discussion over at another table looking at an item by the name of "Jengu Flower". As I make my way over to the table another companion and dear friend, Dretal, joins them. I introduce myself only to find that the small scale (Karok) does not speak common and therefore Tinkado graciously offers to be a sort of translator for me yet again.

There is a small note scribbled off to the side here.

I really must try harder to learn new languages.

Tinkado says that the flower "halts the progression of the plague" in reference to the quest we all assuredly signed on for. We all talk for a while about possible sources for the "plague" but all of the avenues we talk about have already been investigated to no avail. New friend Jean Berée joins the table after some of the discussion has happened, though Karok seems annoyed by the new face at the table.

After a time of more disscussion about what the "plague" cannot be the whole party decides, at new friend Jean's proposal, to conduct some preliminary research at the Guild Records.

Note on the side of the page here: YAY!...

At the hall the party, though initially just Jean and myself, are greeted by the lady with eyes "like burning coals of passion and adventure", miss Alissa.

Must remember Raspberry lime Crumble.

This lady, with hair that bounces and moves the same as a fire might dance across tinder, pointed us deeper into the record hall where we find Kelby Deez, the one in charge of maintaining the record hall. We inform them that we seek information on the Unknown sickness, and Kelby Deez dives into the piles of paper work to fetch us some possibly relevant information. The party splits the gathered information to try and see if any information can be gleamed looking over old documents. No surprise to any one no useful information is found. Armed with only the barest of information, the party then sets out to the Watchers' Tribe Village.

After a day a travel we are greeted by another group of small scales who take us to their village even though they seem a little reluctant. We are given a quick show around then shown to the building we will be staying at. We barely take the time to leave our gear in the appointed building before we are off to attempt to diagnose the sick of the village. At the quarantined building we begin our investigation in earnest, questioning those being held there. After the rest of the party has taken a few moments to try and learn what they can from the first hand accounts of the poor small scales here, new friend Jean makes an attempt and seemingly falls into a trance like state. when they come out of their trance they believe that they have found the source, the portal. Some how the portal has been giving off energy from the shadow plane causing the biases of the illness. The party then goes to priesthood lodge to see what they can tell us about the histories of the small scales and the main portal. We are handed off to a Priestess T'horra who was most helpful in giving us the information we were seeking. Mainly a scroll detailing the way to "cleanse" the portal as well a pointing us to another individual who might be able to help, Father Lightning's brother Tarn. We pay him a quick visit and manage to convince him to allow us to borrow a crystal shard that opened one of the portals that the Shalak'ui used to mount their invasion of first landing some time ago. Along with the crystal he hands over a map to where the crystal was found stating that the energies there should still be active enough to allow us to use this crystal to cross over to the shadow plane. The party takes a small break to restock before heading off to Final Landing.

With new friend Jean opening the portal the party heads off into the shadow plane where we were instantly attacked by a Gibtas Bounder (according to friend Jean). Its goes down easy but the walking ball with teeth and eyes spits a gob of acidic spittle at new friend Kayzen causing some lasting effects until we wash it off with some water. Once we get patched up we send sometime making a game plan now that we can see things for ourselves. New friend Tinkado Mushameri sends new smaller feathered friend Tork to do some basic scouting and returns to tell Tinkado then the party that the main portal in Final landing feels off. That it did not want to get any closer to it. Tinkado sends Tork out again to try and spot if there are any native citizens and if any are found to descibe their attire so that we may blend in better. After a brief wait Tork comes back with the information given and the news is not good. the party will have to make disguises on the fly.

Most of the party fairs well in this endevor except for myself and Tinkado who "accidentally" took someones clothing off of their drying line. Myself and Tinkado were saved by the quick thinking of dear friend Dretal though Tinkado and myself were still heavily scolded and reprimanded by the owner of the clothing *Note: it didn't even look that good...*. The owner mentions to Dretal to be weary of the occupiers, or as we know them the Shalak'ui, and points us off to a shop keep to get some more acceptable clothing from a local merchant.

We arrive at the tent of the goods dealer, Xalgoz, and new friend Jean takes point. While the others are inside shopping I remain outside to see if any one tries to follow us. Jean said that they would be quick though they did spend some time inside with very little talking. We change into our new disguises and make our way towards the portal with new friend Tinkado and Tork informing us of the general layout as we go. Arriving at a hole in the wall to the city, and noticing that the far side is rigged with traps, we continue around the outside of the wall for another way in. Apparently, when we took a small dip inside the wall to look over the traps we foolishly broke cover and were followed and subsequently engaged by two lurkers and a floating menace. After defeating the foes and realizing that there cover is now well and truly blown, the party takes off deeper towards the heart of Final Landing. But not before Tork informs us of a few figures seemingly making their way to all of the commotion we caused.

A little ways into the city, one of the figures from before, a floating orb covered in blades with one eye, an Augur, has seemingly tracked us. Tinkado and Jean kill it quickly and we continue towards the portal. As we make our way, we come upon an area of where it seems some of the old inhabitance of Final Landing made their stand against the Shalak'ui. Here we were forced to run as the bodies of the dead began to reform to try to prevent us from continuing. Eventually we make it to the massacre that is the portal of Final landing.

I will spare the details of what it was that we walked into but suffice to saw it was equivalent to a torture chamber around an active portal. Here we saw two guards, one Evangelists and one Aghash. The party can hear them bickering in some language unknown to them and decide that, biased on Jeans knowledge, that it might be best to present a strong unified front against the fiends instead of attempting to stealth. New friend Kayzen still sneaks off on their own to try to flank the creatures/ see if their is anyone else in the surrounding area. As we approach we are spotted and as it turns out the fiends can speak common. Dear friend Dretal trys to use a little bit of his guile to make it so that we wont have to fight. But all that succeeds in doing is drawing the ire of the Evangelist during the ensuing battle. I do my best to take down the demon but it seems to have the ability to stitch its wounds back together. Tinkado takes on the Aghash at first but seeing the condition of dear friends Dretal pivots to the Evangelist and takes it down. Jean uses his magics to help keep Dretal alive, while Kayzen, unbeknownst to me *Note: That one is exceptionally sneaky*,  is off to the side duelling two shadows. As the Aghash is now free of any other combatants and noticing that the Evangelist is having a very bad time, he jumps though the portal to lands unknown. Once Tinkado has taken care of the Evangelist we rotate to help new friend Kayzen and destroy the shadows. With all of the enemy combatants vanquished we take some time to heal up before beginning the four hour long ritual.

As team ritual (Kayzen, Karok, and Jean) make preparations and start the ritual, team defence (Myself, Dretal, and Tinkado) begin by hiding the body of the Evangelist and helping those in the surrounding area they can *Note: none of the people here survive*. After some time, team defence is called to action as two augurs roll up on the portal. One seems to cast a spell before departing and the other decends to try and scout the place out. Tinkado expertly ambushs the floating orb and single-handedly takes it out just as another wave of augurs and another Valstrac enter the portal plaza. Team Defence defeats the intruders but yet another Valstarc enters the scene, and this one is mad *Note: In every sense of the word*. Team Defence manages to blind the creature with rage and (mostly) kite it as it rampages though the plaza. At this time team ritual is finishing their task. Team ritual collects their things and companions as they finish and everyone recalls out.

Later back in town, team ritual conducts the ritual again purifying it so that the kobolds should no longer have to deal with the Shadow plane radiation sickness for a long time.
