Sukemoru Uzuto here. After meeting with Ari, Reiko Amiri, Young Elder, and Lanliss Ashscribe, we set out to the city of Thunderveil after a quick stop in Roanokae Camp, where Oukra asked me to look for her friend Syvanna and make sure she was ok. I also began teaching Rip how to write in Orcish and he is learning as quick as ever! Our journey was mostly uneventful, except for when we met a troll next to a river. While he was nice at first, he kept attempting to force us to pay a toll but refused most forms of payment that we offered. Ari used fire to frighten him back to his house, which allowed us to fly over the river and continue to Thunderveil, arriving after another day. Upon our arrival, several guards escorted us to Tanni Galespeaker, a member of the Henge, who keep order in the city. We noticed that there were prisoners sitting in cages in town, so I gave them water. He told us that the best way to make our case would be to endear ourselves to the populace and also gave us information on where to find items to purchase and who the prisoners were, one of them being Syvanna.

After finishing the talks, we visited a tattoo artist, Vera, who was able to give Ari a tattoo, though we had to kill a koi fish and a dragon first. We stayed the night in an inn before going to a local tailor to acquire me new material similar to the Lightning-aspected gi that I found in the Elemental Shrine, but the owner was nowhere to be seen, after asking a nearby child with the same name as the Pact leader, we found out that his daughter had experienced a strange affliction and tracked him down at a side entrance to his shop. There we found her in a coma with traces of necromantic magic on a coin that she had picked up a week prior. Reiko was able to learn more information about this infliction through a spell that shared our knowledge with each other while Ari was able to dispel the spell entirely.

We left the shop to give the tailor and his daughter some time alone and went back to the plaza, where several soldiers were doing recruitment. During this time, Reiko revealed that she wanted to free Syvanna from her cage, so we all set about helping with this task. We succeeded in doing so, but several people in the crowd seemed to recognize us from a previous encounter, forcing us to flee from sight. After taking time for things to die down, Ari and I headed to the tailor's, where we helped him to clean up, had dinner (Well, they had dinner, I had gruel), and he gave me a very nice headband that I am wearing right now.

We left under the cover of night to free the other prisoner who was left behind, but he did not wish to accompany us, so we left him to his own devices. Meanwhile, Reiko, Lanliss, and Young Elder accompanied Syvanna to outside the city where she could escape to the Space Mountain. Reiko learned that a faction of orcs wants peace, and is attempting to confer treasonously with the Republic to do so. She warned them that First Landing was not on the side of the orcs in the conflict.
