A rich hunter who settled down in First Landing to catch wind of any new and exciting creatures, Vichomin ran into trouble when an imported tiger turned out to be a dire tiger, a very dangerous and intelligent creature. He released it into the wild, where it eventually was tracked down in the events of Oh, So They Meant *Those* Tigers! He currently lives with his butler, Johan, and his son, Tanur.
