Full Report:

About two weeks ago, we left from the new First Landing Port with the intent to explore the area northeast of the Silent Forest, get to the river that flows from Gozreh's Wellspring, and give it a name. The sea travel to the Drop-off Point in the Avis River Basin was without issue, and we started heading north after leaving the boat.

The waters of the river were very shallow at points, so we managed to simply walk through them and camp in the area. At night, we were attacked by giant crabs that walked out of the ocean, but we killed them all after a rather tough fight.

After leaving the Basin area towards the Silent Forest, we decided to take shelter in the abandoned art gallery that was found a while ago, but, strangely enough, it seemed completely renovated, and we found it to be some sort of illusion created by vengeful Elven spirits. They showed us visions of Elves being killed left and right, and we would have had to fight them if Hakuto did not pull out a statue of an Elf being killed by arrows, which seemed to calm the spirits down and cause the place to go back to its true decrepit state. That place is quite dangerous, other parties should stay away from it until its history is understood.

Hakuto adds:
Yes, it was incredibly strange. I don't even know why I showed it to them, but at the moment, I felt incredible connection with them all. So far, however, I can only guess how that statuette relates to those poor souls. As of making this report, my only idea is that each of the six figurines I have come into possession refers to a creature, or creatures, whose souls are trapped on this plane.
More info on the statuettes will be available on the Adventurer's Board, or when you ask for Hakuto they will let you know where to find me.

The next day, we traversed the Silent Forest without issue, and ended up hearing sounds of battle far away. It was almost night, so we decided to not investigate until morning. When that time came, we found dozens (I counted 67) of corpses belonging to both Kobolds and Sea Humans. There was no blood on the ground, and their wounds eluded me, so I can only assume they were killed by unconventional means, likely by the Fiends that attacked us soon after, floating heads called Dorus that we dispatched quickly.

Hakuto adds:
Doru belong to Divs, a... cousins of the Fiends if I may call them that. They come from the Abyss, and usually hold some unconventional hatred for certain things, or unhealthy obsessions. Doru are the keepers of secrets, and the other one, Aghash... We will get to it in a moment.

When we got to the river, we found a hut where a couple more Dorus and an Agash were hiding in, they were all destroyed. While they seemed to be the ones responsible for the massacre, I find it unlikely that their strength alone was enough to kill so many, there ought to be more fiends around the area, but we couldn't find any.

Hakuto adds:
Aghash are creatures of hatred towards everything that holds beauty, and be careful there is some of it within you. They are hellbent on destroying this first.

Peter adds:

The Aghash seemed to be hellbent on destroying me specifically. Not sure why I was especially beautiful, but I guess I'll take their compliment.

We spent some more time exploring the river, but decided to Recall when faced with a flying sand snake that we weren't sure we were a match for.

Hakuto adds:
It was sighted to the North-West of the Silent Forest, but we could not determine how far its territory could reach.

In the end, we decided to call the river "Desert's Belt".
