Olera, Chip, and Heidrun see each other as half-siblings; the latter, together with her mother, created the former two. Chip's reincarnation is the reason why they came to Meridian and attended Midday Meal Mayhem; Olera took care of Chip's failing body, and will continue looking after them as they adjust to their new life.
Her title reflects a somewhat martyr-like demeanor, as she gave parts of herself to those who were hungry. They would usually regrow, but she has plenty of scars to show for it.
