The daughter of Mother Blizzard, Mern was always a stubborn Unknown child who clashed heads with her mother on the best ways to do things.
On a scouting mission like any other however, Mern found a somewhat curved blade with a single edge, made almost entirely of ice whose chill bypassed even the blessing of her people. Seeing it as a sign, she took it with her and took to learning its secrets, against the wishes of her mother who wished she would make herself more useful. When the moon itself cracked in half following the quest Divine Intervention, Mern saw it as another sign that it was time to end the isolation and seek allies to fight against their enemies directly. Her and her mother had a falling out over this decision, and she left the village of the White Kobold Tribe in exile, searching the land for anyone who can aid her in her quest...
