Corvo Calgar, Rodrick Poe, Deanne and Daniel(the bravest of them all) made their way over to the designated arena, observing the myriad of mages and tinkerers working on it. After a very short banter, they were approached by a goblin monk, Peng and a human lumberjack named Ran Sunghyon at the beckon of an elven organizer, by name of Alijae.

A small exchange of words happened and then it was time to brawl it out, for glory and fame. And testing of course. The two teams started a little distance apart, and the fight started properly.
• The goblin monk went blurry and crossed an amazing distance straight towards Rodrick, striking the man with a decent hit, as well as Deanne. Rodrick repositioned and hit back as hard as he got. Corvo joined into the fray, digging through his collections of esoterica to force a personal weakness onto the goblin, just before he tossed his trident which returned after hitting Peng. He then administered his Chalice to Deanne to grant her some protection. Rodrick being somewhat unlucky got hit by one of the two axes thrown by the lumberjack, taking another solid hit.
• With aid from Deanne and a continual stream of attacks shared between Corvo and Rodrick, they managed to take down Peng after just a few attacks, focusing on the Lumberjack next, wary of his flying hatchets that have already tasted blood.
• It was a close fight, with multiple members of the party going down for the count, only to be picked up by an ally. Slowly but surely the lumberjack was worn down and Rodrick finished him off, performing a superb strike with his great pickaxe.
