Inspired by our last trip to the Hidden Village, escorting a merchant there and hearing of their plight, the group returned ( plus a few extra) to that peaceful village to lend aid! We prepared, then moved off and travelled once more to the Hidden village. After arriving, we talked with the village leader and their man at arms Yuuko about their plight, learning that a Boggard leader has been uniting the scattered tribes. Our job? Head out with Yuuko and a tangent of warriors and investigate a possible forward location the Boggards might take. Our trip was smooth at first, but disaster soon found us. A Kitsune Pup was being assaulted by a squadron of Boggards. Our group stepped into rescue them, trouncing the offenders with ease and rescuing the pup. Taking stock of the situation, Vivi calmed down the panicking kit and found out that there was another, a young Kitsune by the name of Susumu who had left the village against orders of safety. They were taken by a host of Boggards accompanied by their biggest weapon, a giant snake. Our Heroes rushed forward to track the snake and Boggards, finding them but not Susumu. They tackled the snake, and it was a hard fight, but emerging victorious there was only one thing left to do. Find Susumu. The party retraced the snakes path, found the Boggard village and formulated a plan. They'd cause a distraction and the Kitsune host would infiltrate and burn the village, rescuing Susumu. The plan went of with a single hitch. A Kitsune died. Now with the boggard threat dealt with (for the most part...) and the swamp they were founded reduced to a perpetually burning wasteland, the party returns with Susumu to the Hidden village, with sombre victory.
